Akshay Shah FCCA | Managing Director
I attained my Chartered Certified Accountant credentials in 2001 and have since held roles as a Finance Controller and Finance Director across various large and medium-sized firms within the IT sector and related industries. In 2006, I established my practice driven by a fervent desire to support small and emerging startups. My specialization encompasses a spectrum of small enterprises, from sole proprietorships and micro-companies to partnerships and modestly sized limited companies.
When not engaged in professional pursuits, I delight in traveling, playing golf, and cultivating connections through networking, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.
Namrata Sawjani MAAT | Senior Accountant / Practice Manager
As a certified AAT member, my journey with ACE began in 2011. Today, I hold the positions of senior accountant and practice manager. My responsibilities encompass the firm’s overall management, with a focus on statutory accounts, company tax-related issues, particularly tax planning, foreign income disclosure, and capital gains taxes. Additionally, I dedicate myself to guiding my team, and upholding the firm’s professional standards.
Outside of work, I find solace in spiritual podcasts and stay informed on tax and accounting topics. Traveling to distant places and immersing myself in diverse cultures also brings me joy.
Jasleen Gandhi | B. Com/ MBA - VAT and Payroll Manager
Armed with a Bachelor’s in Commerce and advanced studies in Business Management, I’m on the cusp of completing my AAT finals. Since joining ACE in 2013, I’ve taken the reins of the VAT, Payroll, Auto Enrolment Pensions, P11d, and Bookkeeping divisions, guaranteeing punctual submissions and precise records. Additionally, I lend my expertise to the preparation of personal tax returns for our clientele at ACE.
Outside the office, I relish culinary adventures, cherish gatherings with loved ones, and thrive in the camaraderie of social events.
Mamatha Bodige MAAT | Senior Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant
As an AAT-certified professional, I’ve been with ACE since 2018, advancing to the role of senior bookkeeper/assistant accountant. My expertise lies in overseeing financial operations for entities such as restaurants, Airbnb’s, and IT consultancy firms. Holding certifications in XERO and DEXT, I have successfully navigated multiple VAT inspections conducted by HMRC.
Outside of work, I find pleasure in exploring the outdoors, indulging in watching movies, and cherishing moments with friends.
Sajia Afrin | Senior Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant (To Follow)
Manisha Parmar | Office Administrator
I graduated with honours in Accounting and Finance and currently serve as the office manager at ACE. Over time, I’ve cultivated extensive experience in fostering client relationships, onboarding new clients, and ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations within a professional practice setting. Additionally, I provide comprehensive support to the practice manager and our team at ACE.
Leisurely, I am passionate about traveling and immersing myself in diverse cultures.
Paulina Parmar | Payroll and Bookkeeping Administrator
I’ve recently embarked on my journey with ACE as an Accounts Assistant, while simultaneously advancing my AAT studies. My role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including Bookkeeping and Payroll support. When not immersed in numbers, I find solace in gardening and the thrill of exploring uncharted destinations.
Bhavna Shah | Marketing and Business development
Equipped with a Bachelor of Arts and a background in the cosmetic beauty sector, I’ve taken on the role of Events Manager at ACE. My duties involve orchestrating client networking events, team social gatherings, nurturing client relations, among other tasks. Leisure time for me is about embracing the joys of travel, engaging in social activities, and forming new friendships.
