Founded in 2001 by our visionary founder director, Akshay Shah, our company has been a beacon of support and expertise for small businesses navigating the complexities of the industry. With Akshay’s extensive knowledge and firsthand experience within the sector, he recognized the unique challenges small businesses faced daily. This insight led him to establish a practice dedicated to aiding these businesses in overcoming their obstacles.
Initially, the practice served a broad spectrum of needs as a general practice. However, it wasn’t long before we began to see organic growth, fuelled by consistent networking and the powerful endorsements from our satisfied clients. Through the years, this growth has allowed us to carve out a specialized niche in the dynamic fields of e-commerce, hospitality, property, and technology.

Since earning my Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) qualification in 2001, I have built extensive experience across senior finance roles, including Finance Controller and Finance Director, primarily within the IT sector and its allied industries. In 2006, I established my own practice with a clear focus on supporting the growth of small businesses and emerging startups.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy travelling, playing golf, and building meaningful connections through networking. I also value spending quality time with friends and family, which helps me maintain a balanced and grounded approach to both life and business.

Equipped with a Bachelor of Arts and a background in the cosmetic beauty sector, I’ve taken on the role of Events Manager at ACE. Since joining ACE in 2011 as an AAT-certified professional, she has progressed to Senior Accountant and Practice Manager. Her role is central to guiding the firm’s operations, with expertise in statutory accounts and corporate taxation. She specialises in tax strategy, overseas income disclosure, and capital gains tax, while also mentoring the team and upholding ACE’s high professional standards.
Outside work, she enjoys listening to spiritual podcasts, staying updated on tax and accounting developments, and travelling to experience diverse cultures.
Jasleen Gandhi

With a strong foundation in commerce, including a bachelor’s degree and advanced studies in Business Management, she is currently completing her AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Having been with ACE since 2013, she leads the VAT, Payroll, Auto Enrolment Pensions, P11D, and Bookkeeping functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions. She also prepares personal tax returns for a wide range of clients and holds XERO Payroll Certification.
Outside work, she enjoys exploring different cuisines, spending quality time with family and friends, and participating in social gatherings.

Currently pursuing ACCA studies, she applies her certifications in XERO, DEXT, and A2X to specialise in e-commerce accounting. Her experience spans platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Magento, and WooCommerce, delivering end-to-end accounting solutions including payroll, VAT, monthly management accounts, and year-end accounts for sole traders and companies.
Outside work, she enjoys painting, gardening, drawing, and music, finding creativity a perfect balance to her professional role.

Her calm, methodical working style helps simplify complex financial tasks for both colleagues and clients.
Outside of work, Khushbu enjoys creative pursuits such as design and drawing, specialising in mandala art and scratch illustrations, which provide a relaxing outlet for her creativity.

My track record includes adeptly handling numerous VAT inspections by HMRC.
